Girl on a Motorcycle

I read "Girl on a Motorcycle written by John Escott.

Kenny is going across America by bus. One evening in summer, his bus arrives in a little town in California. He asks bus driver " Is there a motel and a bus to San Francisco tomorrow?" The bus driver says "Yes, there is." so, he gets off the bus with his bag. In a street in Los Angeles, somebody is robbing a security guard outside a supermarket. The robber is sitting on a motorcycle and has a gun. "Give me the money!" the robber tells the security guard. And, the security guard gives it. Then the robber rides away - but a camera is taking pictures. After, the robbery, the supermarket manager phones the police. "The robber has a long blond hair,and with a motorcycle..." the manager says. However everyone doesn't know which the robber is a man or a woman. 

In a little town, fifty kilometres away from Los Angeles, Kenny goes into the motel and gets the key and then, he goes up to his room. An hour later, he comes down to eat. Then he sees the girl arrive on a motorcycle. He thinks I know her face.

Early the next morning, a news reader is talking about the supermarket robbery. The news shows the picture of robbery. The robbery alike the girl who he saw yesterday. After that, he goes for breakfast. The girl is eating her breakfast, so he sits with her. For a while, they talk. when she leaves the room, a young man near the door named Ned comes to Kenny's table. They talks and conclude she may be a robber. Kenny waits for her leaving and then he was helped by a woman who works in the motel. He breaks into her room and searches the money. Suddenly, she comes back to her room. When she puts down the phone, he goes back into the room next her room from the window. He searches the money again, then he finds it. But, the man comes into the room. Surprisingly, he is Ned. He hits Kenny on the head by the gun. A minutes later, Mel sees the leave away. She climbs down from her room and rides her motorcycle. She jumped across the river and stops in front of Ned. His motorcycle goes into the river. Ned was arrested, and Kenny and Mel tell a policeman their story. She is the famous stunt. He rides her motorcycle and goes to San Francisco with her.
